For the record, I also don't think of it as winning when someone gets driven away from the forum, because I feel like that's a breakdown of what this place was made for. The ladies and gentlemen here might not have a lot of time for what we perceive as incorrect ideas, but that in itself isn't an unwillingness to discuss them; the correct thing to do from there is to defend your ideas with well reasoned arguments and evidence. When somebody just throws up their hands and leaves instead of this, then one of two things has happened; either the person leaving has run up against some difficulty properly defending their true beliefs, or they're unwilling to consider the possibility that their beliefs might not be true.
Either way, discussion has broken down at that point, and that's a pity.
