You actually already have cold air moving near your brain through your sinuses. Also why would assume the top of the head? Although dolphin physique is hard to approximate to ours I believe a better placement may the mid chest or back. Also although your appeal to vanity is humorous. Very little air moves through the sinuses, they are there to produce mucous to help filter air as the mucous travels into the nasal passage, also they help to humidify the air if needed. The sinuses may help to amplify our voices. They do not pass cold to the brain. You still haven't addressed how to rid the lungs of fluid if the air passage bypasses the throat. How about when the nasal passage is closed due to swelling during sickness. How about accomplishing resuscitation, nose to nose wouldn't get it now would it. Like I said a little thought about the benefits of the design would go a long way. You are only interested in trying to tear down God's design, you are blind to the benefits, I say that's pathetic.
