RE: The Historical Jesus is real and He rose from the grave

It's not totally out there to buy that a man named Jesus may have existed 2000+ years ago. But, so what? The tale that was attached to him, of the NT? That is the part that is way harder to buy.
Revelation, I was Christian, and there was a time when I bought it all. But, largely, that was because I didn't apply critical thinking, and was indoctrinated from childhood to believing the tall tales of the Bible.
The trouble with the Bible, is it's not a history book. It's a religious book, and that is the only reason it was ''produced,'' to indoctrinate people into a specific religious construct.
