The sad thing is it could be so much more than a camera strapped to your head. Imagine walking into a museum and being given a pair. Wherever you go you get as much information as you want on any given exhibit - including VR videos of how it used to look. As the set incorporates GPS you could even walk around an exhibit and see how it was from all angles.
I've done some work at the Acropolis museum where they are doing similar things on tablets for school tours. The kids hold the tablets up to see statues as they were back when they were made. With Glass - no tablet. It just could be so brilliant its heart-braking.
