I've never known about them. I'd be intrigued, but how do we get Hangouts to work? Download something?

Hangouts comes standard with a gmail account. It's like their version of Skype. If you open your e-mail you ought to see a thingy on the side for contacts. We used to use G+ to arrange it, but I imagine since that place sucks we could exchange contact info were we to do them and invite everyone into one call.
