Thing is, men distinguish between whom they'll sleep with, and whom they'll date. It's social psychology.

"According to the parental investment model, females frequently have more stringent criteria for the traits they will accept in a mate because they have a relatively larger investment in each offspring. [...] Males had lower requirements for a sexual partner than did females, but were nearly as selective as females when considering requirements for a long-term partner."

Intelligence was one such "requirement" that men significantly lowered in the sexual partner condition.

Things like that are based off averages for the sexes. They aren't rules and may be malleable.
Many men may do that. It's misleading to not add that qualifier.
