Player doesn't always mean something good bc a player, to me, is a guy that lies and cheats a lot. But a guy being a "stud" or a "man whore" is almost always said as a complement (compliment? I can never remember which is which). I don't think men should get to be cool for having casual sex whilst women are shamed for it. Sex is just a natural thing.
If I may make my unconvential opinion, women shouldn't be shamed for having sex (sluts are good girls), but men deserve to be cooler for having casual sex. There is more skill needed for a man to casually fuck women, then for a woman to casually fuck men.
