I am also against male circumcision without the consent of the person being circumcised. Male circumcision also has its detrimental effects. As I understand it, it reduces his pleasure during sex. However, he can still have sex and enjoy it. It doesn't ruin his sexuality. It also has a subjective plus side in my view: I kind of like the aesthetic look of cut cocks. That may be just me.
So in sum, it's a matter of how severe the consequences are. In my opinion, it's far more dire in the case with females and I rank the practice alongside male castration.
