I'm an atheist but I don't have the ability to time travel back millions of years, then give myself everlasting life, then speed up time very fast in order to see evolution being the cause of different "kinds" of animals, I'm assuming by the word "kinds" he means species?

I'm not a scientist but I'm vaguely aware of the fact that during some peoples recent lifetimes HIV has evolved into what it is today, and that bacteria are becoming immune to anti biotics due to evolution.

It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to.
