If you could correct "god's" mistakes...

If you could correct "god's" mistakes...
Imagine you're an all powerful deity. You have just created the universe and want to make it better than the Abrahamic deity did.

What would you do?

If I had followed the biblical script and only created two people, I would have put the tree of knowledge somewhere on the other side of the universe.

I would not hold the two humans I just created responsible for acts the could not possibly know were wrong.

Also, I would block people from thinking of gloves as a fashion accessory.

Why would you do that?

You're saying you're imagining you're the deity, but you're not really trying to do that.

There would be no disease or disabilities for animals or humans. There would still be variation though. I definitely wouldn't give people frailties and blame it on their forebearers.

Is there even some kind of rule that says you have to make a tree of knowledge in the first place? Like, you can't create humans without also creating a tree, that if eaten from, will condemn them to toil, misery, and death. I guess it's in the fine print somewhere.

I mean, I guess I'm stating the obvious here, but one thing I'd do is just reveal myself-- to everyone. Every so often I'd just stand there in the sky for everybody to see, so there weren't any doubts about it. And also, when people pray for stuff I'd answer their prayers. Not in the sense of always giving them what they want. I mean, I'd literally answer them when they asked for something.

"Yes, I will give you what you want," they'd hear my voice boom.

--or--

"No, I won't give you what you want because [whatever the reason is]."

I think I'd be a pretty good God if you ask me. If anything, I will have taken all the guesswork out of being a believer and done my best to make my wishes clear to my creations.

Um, I would have not only put the tree of knowledge where it was, I would have put one on every street corner and encouraged religitards to eat freely of it.  Why does a "god" have to be afraid of knowledge?

Is god a pussy?
