Sex is not a massively important act. Treating it like it is makes for serious issues involving shame and anxiety. You ever have sex that wasn't intended for procreation? I have. I started when I was 15. (A sophomore in high school) I have had plenty of sex since then and oddly enough because I learned about it, contraception, and reproduction---and wasn't shamed into thinking it was this massive thing---said sex has never resulted in anyone being born.
Tell that to all the kids out there without dads, because Dad doesn't care about them. He was just in it for fun - nothing important you know.
