Because it's not about the fact that Chinese people are getting the money. It's the fact that, even moreso than what happens , almost none of that money is going to Chinese workers, but rather, lining the pockets of extraordinarily wealthy and exploitative Chinese corporatists. here

The only reason Chinese workers even make our stuff is because it is cheaper for American corporatists to conspire to exploit Chinese workers than American workers.

The standard of living for the ordinary Chinese has increased dramatically over the past couple of decades and this is due to trade. Goods and services make people better off...not money. The average Chinese person has more goods and services available to him or her than any time in their history. The "corporatist" might have a more impressive ledger but to claim as you effectively did...that the average Chinese isn't benefiting substantially from trade with the west is absolutely ludicrous.

People have more goods in the Walmart Era then they did in the Mom and Pop era.

I just bought some 60 watt equivalent LED lightbulbs at 5.88 each at Walmart. At a Mom and Pop shop they would be at least twice that price.

There is a reason it is cheap. It is poor quality and won't last anywhere near as long as a quality made LED lightbulbs you can buy at Lowe's or Home Depot.

The Lowe's or Home Depot bulb would need to last almost twice as long to justify the difference in price. I am skeptical those higher priced bulbs last twice as long.
