Why does God Kill Babies

1. 1 Samuel 15:3 God commands the death of helpless "suckling" infants. This literally means that the children god killed were still nursing.
   
2. Psalms 135:8 & 136:10 Here god is praised for slaughtering little babies.
   
3. Psalms 137:9 Here god commands that infants should be “dashed upon the rocks”.
   
4. Leviticus 20:9 “For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.”
   
5. Judges 11:30-40 Jephthah killed his young daughter (his only child) by burning her alive as a burnt sacrifice to the lord for he commanded it.
   
6. Isaiah 13:15-18 If God can find you, he will “thrust you through,” smash your children “to pieces” before your eyes, and rape your wife.
   
7. Mark 7:9 Jesus criticizes the Jews for not killing their disobedient children according to Old Testament law.
   
8. Proverbs 13:24, 19:18, 22:15, 23:13-14 & 29:15 God commands repeatedly that you beat your children.

I wonder, Lek...if atheism is "simply" the lack of belief in gods why do they get so bent out of shape and go out of their way to mock and revile Christians? Why does God kill babies? Hmmm. Why do atheists care?

Yeah, we don't mock any other kind of beliefs at all, just Christian ones...you've never seen an example of us doing that with any nonChristian opinion the whole time you've posted here, right?

God kills babies because of sin. We can't get into his head so that's all we know. It's the same reason we all die. Some of us die when we're babies and some when we're old. I assume the babies are in heaven and are happy they were killed. If God wants to kill me now it's okay with me. I'm sure it's for a good reason. Christians are more concerned about eternity than about that stuff. It all comes out in the wash.

If humans die because of sin, why do animals die?

If it makes you feel better, it's highly unlikely that babies die because of God, because God is pretty unlikely in the first place.
