My "New Age Perception" - The Goddess Is "Real"

I've already made a topic about what I call my New Age Perception so I'm going to link to it instead of explaining it again.

Have Switched To My 'New Age' Perception

Today is May Day so I switched over to "New Age Perception". It's like I'm aware of the planet as a living entity. I also have an inner image of the Venus of Willendorf. This is just one of several Venus Figurines from the Upper Paleolithic period. Nobody knows what the figururines meant to the people who made them but modern Goddess worshippers have adopted the Willendorf figure as a symbol of the Great Mother Goddess. My unconscious mind decided to use it as well. It's not something I'd have consciously chosen, however, because I think it's grotesque.

I had a related experience when I visited the Anglican Shrine Of Our Lady Of Walsingham. When I was in the Church and Holy House I was aware of a powerful female presence but she was far older than Christianity.

So what does it all mean? I think we can safely say that the human brain can move in mysterious ways.

How does it relate to religion? When Christians say they feel their God's presence or whatever I'm guessing they have experiences similar to my own. There are two major differences between us, though.

1: The Christian's unconscious mind draws on Christian mythology. Mine draws on pagan mythology.

2: The Christian believes that his/her God is an objective reality 'out there'. I interpret my own experiences as being purely subjective.

Finally, what does the Great Mother mean to me as a symbol? She's not a fluffy mother because she's Nature which is anything but fluffy. If I ever did convert to Goddess worship I wouldn't have to struggle with the problem of a loving parent who does horrible things to her children.

Yes, it is possible to confront the things that can destroy us, but not without love on our side. Only a prophet of the planet may harmonize this network of consciousness. The complexity of the present time seems to demand a summoning of our lives if we are going to survive.
