The rotational speed at the equator, at its highest point, is closer to 465 meters per second, not 22 million meters per second, as you state. Though the results would still be bad.

I was thinking of the earth stopping in its orbit, which if iirc, wouldve had to happen for the judges account to be accurate. Even if your right though, you still get sent flying.

Actually, it's 2 Kings, which according to the legend seems to imply that the earth reversed in its rotation 10 degrees in the span of seconds. By my calculation, that's about a million meters in however many seconds it took for those at the surface of the equator.
