In Islam there is no room for the separation of church and state. Islam is a specific doctrine for how the state should be run. Where as most other religions have come around to the reality of the benefits of a secular state. In addition Islam is an obvious fraud. So much of their doctrine is obviously made up by a male in the middle east in the middle ages. Take for instance the fasting from dawn til dusk in Ramadan. Well because the Islamic calendar is lunar, Ramadan changes season periodically. Therefore sometimes Ramadan falls in the summer. Do you expect Swedish with 20 hours of daylight to just not eat for a whole month? A pretty dumb oversight for an almighty God, but an obvious one for a male from a place in the world where daylight doesn't vary that much. Islam is full of such inconsistencies that simply couldn't be made by an omnipotent being. Mind you all of this is without mentioning the obvious stereotypes about terrorism, rape, the repression of women, etc.
Your diatribe in both unhelpful and inaccurate. You can hate all religions if you wish. I think they are all fairy stories. However you do Christianity a disservice: it has lots of blood on its hands too. I could quite easily list the pain and suffering meted out by Christianity but I don't think it will impact on your attitude. The separation of Church and state is not inherent in Christianity - it was something fought for. Islam also for many centuries had a separation of religion and state. Islam gives guidance ( the technical term is fatwa) on matters of fasting in northern climes. There are a whole range of advisory fatwas issued by Muslim theologians when problems are seen to arise in the practice of that faith.
I'm an atheist, but I think one should reject religions based on (accurate) knowledge not ignorance. The original post asked about Islam, so why not an appropriate book or list the basic beliefs of Muslims etc.
