You shouldn't be. You have the option to live behind a dumpster if you like. I hear it's free.

Actually it isn't, as a once homeless veteran in that EXACT situation I can tell you that if the police catch you, at least in certain areas they pick you up.

The city I was homeless in it was a crime to be homeless. They would pick us up or try to all the time.

Homeless shelters are a joke too, they aren't really shelters, and they are filthy, unorganized, you'll get sick, most likely robbed, hell my buddy almost got raped there.

I knew many homeless folks that had jobs (haha ironic right, their jobs never paid enough to get off the streets. All they could get)

So since they were not paid a living wage they never made it off the streets, I had a job while homeless too, but rent was too high, didn't have the money for a car, bus was $10 a day. by the time I got or would have gotten to a shelter (they typically close at 4, so if you are not in line waiting, you don't have a bed)

So kind of stupid really.
