Purpose of Atheists is to protect and value the truth above everything.
Purpose of Theists is to protect and value the faith above everything.
...in theory.
In practice, most Atheists don't care about the truth and even less about the faith, and similarly most Theists don't care about the faith and even less about the truth. Both use the words that define them, but pay little heed to any of them. Purpose is a luxury in such scenario.
...being an Atheist at least removes the possibility to search your purpose in faith and illusions.
