It's entirely determined by context. People have the right to do as they wish with their own lives, but sometimes our responsiblity that we have created necessitates staying alive. For example, if you kill yourself when you have young kids that are dependent upon you, it is wrong.
I also think it's wrong when people do it to weasle out of a situation they put themselves in, like that Castro guy that kept those girls in captivity but killed himself in prison. That's just cowardice exemplified.
Otherwise, if someone determines their life is not worth living, who am I to say they must stay alive? That being said, I don't advocate it, and it is definitley not something that should be done without a lot of contemplation.

Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
