I'd say it depends on which perspective you look at it from. From a naturalistic perspective it is wrong. I believe that we're here solely as a consequence of nature. Nature has made it so that we generally desire to advance our genes. Killing one's self goes against this. So it would be wrong.
From a liberal perspective you can do what you want. You can go ahead and even take your life. So here there would be no problem.
On a moral basis it would be wrong for one to take their life if they had dependents. At least wait for your children to come of age and be in a position where they can fend for themselves. Suicide while you still have responsibilities is wrong.
Of all these where do I lie? I'm gonna go with liberal. Not quite sure how to say this but I've been on a low for a long time. I've.probably been depressed but I don't wanna admit it to myself. I mean it's me. How can I get depressed? I'm rock solid! Na that's bullshit. Never thought in my wildest nightmares that I'd have suicidal thoughts. And then I did. Wow. Life be one hell of a fucking ride. If suicide was as easy as pressing a button on your body that couldn't be pressed by anyone but one's self. This would of course be a painless way to go. It'd be like falling into a deep sleep except you wouldn't ever wake up or actually be dreaming. I think I would've pressed that button already. I wonder how many people would press that button?
8000 years before Jesus, the Egyptian god Horus said, "I am the way, the truth, the life."
