Well, those people are called "psychopaths". They lack compassion and a wide range of other things. They are mere parodies of humans, they have the husk, but the soul is nonexistent.

By "these people" I will assume you were including yourself considering the complete lack of compassion and empathy in your previous post. Though, I would say sociopath not psychopath, but that's just me.

Compassion does not mean that you have to acknowledge their desire to end their life.
I myself may empathize with their condition, but I can never agree with their method of dealing it.
