Whatever denomination appeals to you is O.K...
You don't really seem to care about religion except to the extent that it might inconvenience you if you ignore it too much. And if you are going to be inconvenienced now, then everyone else should share in it so you can pretend that everyone is laughing with you and not at you. What makes you think that any god would reward someone who uses religious belief as some sort of confidence game? And why would I join any religion that uses such an idiotic method of recruitment?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
