You're right. Chickens are not made kn the image and likeness of God and they don't possess the knowledge of good and evil.

I thought we gained that hereditary trait* when Eve ate fruit from the forbidden tree. Being made "in the likeness of God" has nothing to do with it.


* Hereditary, in that people didn't have this trait, then Eve ate some fruit, then she gained this trait, and we've all had it sense. God damn that story is so stupid.

Adam and Eve were created with ability to know good and evil, but they didn't learn about it until they ate from that tree.

If your concern is genuine then your time would be better served petitioning your god to throw down some evidence rather than mindlessly repeating the same shit that's been belched forth for 2000 years. There is absolutely no reason to believe anything in the Bible regarding Christ's return or the existence of an afterlife.
