Some of the things you're going through are normal, however. When we leave childhood behind we start wondering who we really are. "Do I think this because my parents do? Am I being true to myself or conforming to what society expects of me?" I'm going to pick out a few things from your posts which are troubling you.
If you don't like what's popular look online for music you enjoy listening to. YouTube is a wonderful resource for experimenting with different genres.
Join a conservation group. Look for online petitions etc.
Join a human rights organisation. Look for online petitions etc.
There are many people who like philosophical debates. Just find debate forums online.
I was young in the days before the internet was invented. If I wanted to find people who shared my interests I had to look for penpals and communication was by letters which were either written by hand or typed on a manual typewriter. I met my best friend that way and, 35 years on, we still have a lot of interests in common. It's much easier these days because I can find people who share my interests all over the world and communicate with them in seconds. (Much better than in the old days when exchanging letters with penpals in the US took a couple of weeks.)
Finally, there's nothing wrong with going along with something that's popular if you genuinely like it yourself. What's popular is ever changing, however, so if you don't like anything today you could find yourself liking several things in a couple of years time.
