There was no Trinity in the Old Testament, though. That thing came later as a result of trying to reconcile internal contradictions concerning the nature of God within the New Testament.
Yes, but Elohim is the plural form of "El" as referred to in the OT, from when El had a wife named Asherah, and a son named ba'al. This is strikingly similar to the later God-Holy Spirit-Son trinity, as Elohim refers to all three at once.
