Nowhere in the Old Testament is there a reference for the Trinity. Sure, Christians will interpret it as alluding to the Trinity here and there, but such an interpretation requires Christian presuppositions in the first place.
Since the new testament is the fulfillment of the old testament, which was a prediction of the coming of the messiah, I do interpret it from a new testament perspective.
It's a Christian presupposition that the NT fulfills the OT.
