That story as I have said before, doesn't even make for good metaphor if one is not going to take it as a true story. It would be as sick if you wrote a Cat In The Hat story where the Cat In the Hat demanded that Thing One murdered Thing Two to prove his loyalty.
And the entire book itself is immoral. Peppering it with moments of kindness, have to be taken out of context and cherry picked to ignore that the head figure from beginning to end is still and immovable power with absolute final say, who treats humans as mere property.
Humans in that comic book at best can grovel with prayer, and he still can pick who he favors and does not need our consent, and at the end most of us will be tortured in eternity, mostly for the mere infraction of picking the wrong sky hero club, or not having one at all.

The gods of Abraham in all their forms have plagued humans for 5,000 years all stemming from the same polytheism from which they arose, an ever since have turned our planet into a divided petulant childish game of capture the flag, with very deadly results. The sooner humans scrap this god the quicker we can have more peace.
I am sick of Jesus vs Allah vs Yahweh. It was understandable in antiquity when humans didn't know any better. But the violence in the context of our modern knowledge of evolution and even neurology and human psychology, really pisses me off that these big three would rather blow up the planet to prove the existence of a mythological character than to GROW THE FUCK UP!
I am under no illusions they will go away. But we are not living in a period of time with climate change and the uber rich monopolizing our world's resources, that we as a species can afford to let this childish fighting distract our species from problems we need to solve before it is too late for all of us.
