Just to add one thing that no one commented on - Bathsheba was taking a bath in a place where she must have known that she could be seen by the king and maybe others.

A non issue.

That's like saying if a nice car is parked in a public lot for all to see, it's ripe for the stealing.
The responsibility relies 100% on the would-be thief to not steal the car.

No. I'm just saying that Bathsheba may have been a willing accomplice in the relationship, in which case she would share responsibility for the act of adultery.
