I want to make sure I understand your position clearly.
I think there are some differences in relating the events such as you might find when a few witnesses tell about the same event. The bible was written by human authors. I think it was meant that we should use our brains when interpreting it. When Matthew tells of the sermon on mount and Luke says he went down and stood on a level place, I don't call this a discrepancy.
