Flunking accounting is not neccessarily a bad thing; if you think to mention it you'll never have to be treasurer of any club you join
You might be surprised how quickly you manage to outlive a good friend or two. It really sucks. Some of us have lost many more than just a few, it's the worst thing about getting old, it's different than relatives, your friends you pick and they can mean so much more than most of your relatives
