Same reasoning goes for gnostic athiests.
For all we know, all the gods live in another universe not bound to our laws.

If you can never be sure gods exist how did you even come up with the concept of gods in the first place? Do vampire unicorn zombie ghouls exist? How can you be sure that they don't? Better start a religion based on them or else they will drink your blood and eat your flesh. And be sure to offer them 40 percent of your earnings every month.
