And in the SoCal market at the time, there were no companies trying to hire store managers, let alone area/district managers. Long story short, I kept my ass looking for work, and in the meantime volunteered at a local food bank, figuring that if I needed to be a future customer, I might as well start my sweat-equity ASAPI did get to make this video last night after borrowing a phone with video capabilities. She sent it to me and I got it this morning and uploaded it. I really, unfortunately do live in my car and I am in this situation..
Long story a little longer, it didn't work for me, I got some help from family and friends, couch-surfed for about a year, and in that time saved up enough from recycling / busking guitar on the streets / selling possessions (they were in my ex's garage) etc to get back home to Texas, where I found work pretty quickly and soon was working three jobs and sixty-five hours a week. I'm down to two and fifty-eight now.
The point is, if the OP is truly in her dire straits, she need not suffer alone; there are agencies and organizations available to help.
Ami, if you need help fine-tuning her interview issues, she can PM me. Having conducted thousands of job interviews over the course of sixteen years in business, I've got a pretty good line on the ins and outs of that. I don't have any money to give, but I'm sure I can help you get around the homeless and autism issues that seem to be derailing your efforts.
