It's ridiculous that they just throw up terrorists as a scapegoat still. What have terrorists actually done here recently? Whenever I see terrorists they are sat in the desert with AK's or in handcuffs outside a block of flats once or twice a year. They really don't seem to be struggling to stop these terrorist plots. Half the time it turns out it's actually a couple of losers who only ever managed to pull of the Google search to some jihadists site. Heck, the worst terrorist act recently was those machete assholes and that required no planning at all. No amount of snooping would have prevented that happening.
Reality is that no matter how clever you try to be, if somebody really wants to fuck with you they will, and its few and far between that they do. They keep bringing up the guys that went to fight in Syria and how much of a threat they will be. How are they going to be a threat when you know exactly who they are already!?
