If the govt was hellbent on doing this then they should have created an opt out process, but that was rejected.

I believe the introduction of legislation designed to prevent search engine queries specifically on child abuse images was discussed but I don't think it's been introduced. It could have been but I'm not aware of it.
RE: the rape discussion. I can't think of any legislation that has brought this into affect but if you find something that'd be helpful. I would look but I'm really tired at the moment and I've got a long day at work tomorrow. I'll have look over the weekend and do some digging. My knowledge of legislation in this area is limited, especially since Dave seems to have unleashed a litany of nonsense policies and benchmarks about it that is effectively just grandstanding for Daily Mail readers and older christians.
