There's lots to pick from. So why aren't these true?
The Metamorphosis, Ovid or better yet Hesiod's Theogony , because it's older than the Bible. Cronus created the world, but Zeus killed him.
Gilgamesh, also predating the Bible.
The Koran, Bible 2.1 according to the Muslims.
The Book of Mormon. Bible 4.0 according to the Mormons.
Or going back to ancient times there's the Hindu texts: The Vedas, The Upanishads, The Mahabharata and Ramayana. They fill a library, not just a single book, but hey when it comes to the word of god, more is better.
