Sounds like Mormonism. They maintain we lived in heaven, came here to be tested, and have no recollection of our prior existence.
So, are you preaching the doctrine of Mormonism, coming up with a new way to reconcile the problem of evil, or telling us that birds aren't very reliable sources of information?
Mormonism is exactly what I thought.

We were all little spirits around the throne of God in Heaven.
Having been created out of the Spirit of God.
Spirit beings.
We asked to be sent to earth ( to be made into a person).
In response, the Father said, "It is a wicked place, full of evil ".
We begged to go, saying, "I will not fail you" and other such confident statements. So Father said OK.
And here we are.
This little story is nonsense. Why would all the spirit beings (whatever they may be) want to go become meat beings on earth? And if no humans where on earth before the spirits arrived, how was earth evil? And if the spirits were good and moral in heaven, why are they so evil here?
I see you too see the story as nonsense. But, I see no real difference between this nonsense and mainstream Christian nonsense other than that more people have been taught mainstream Christian nonsense.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
