Forgive my ignorance, but I do not recall if there is a formal term to this logical process, but I would suggest you watch the pros and cons diagram (four square diagram) for the issue of climate change. Basically the conclusion is either way we are screwed, but if we take precautionary measures and investments in renewable energy, we are pretty well off than if we didn't. I can find it for you if you wish, but I'm sure some key word search in YouTube or Googlewould suffice. I become an increasingly lazy poster when operating through a cellular device.
