You have to present the faith as it really is and those who reject it can go the way they want, which is what many of the younger generation are doing. It's a pastor's job to present the truth of the gospel and let God worry about the numbers.
I appreciate your honesty. But I guess that most religious sects have a business model which depends on numbers and revenues, and will want to maximise both, so 'bums on seats' as the British say, would be important.
