Do the 3 of you still see a problem with the P.O.E. God is personified with many actionable characteristics both good and bad in the Bible. The only attributes purely descrptive I'm aware referring to God are "God is Love", "God is among us", "God is judge", "God is holy", "God is pure" and "God is righteousness". The fact people attribute actionable thinkgs like vengeful and balme their own inequities and percieved injustice/evil and natual disasters on God still baffles me.

It seems to me that our choice is this:

1. We can set aside our critical faculties and believe in one or another of the strange and twisted fairytales that religionists subscribe to. By doing so, we enslave ourselves to phantoms, debase ourselves before our own delusions, willingly give up our autonomy of thought and judgement.

or

2. We can look at the world rationally, and live and think as free people.

You're presumptions are showing you can have 2 and religion. You just can't have an entirely materialistic view of reality, or a lack of belief in a soul and religion. I don't believe I fall into any of the traps defined in one, I'd be happy if you pointed out where I am though (especially the auonomy of thought and judgement).

Well if I am wrong, it will be the first and only time I have been wrong in my life, except for that one time.
