Which indicates to me that it is no longer a big deal. People are marrying who they want and the sky is not falling in, the world is still turning about the sun.

I think that has more to do with the fact that rather than actually debate the issue people who support non-traditional marriage want to just call people of religious conviction names.
You seem to be acting as if there is a moral imperative to allow gay marriage, that’s very interesting to say the least.
