I don't hate god and I'm an atheist. I guess you're wrong.

I don't think atheists hate God any more than they hate magic space monkeys. They mock the idea of God, and hate that there exist in this world people stupid enough to read the Bible, think for a second, and say, "Yeah. . . that makes sense."

They may also hate people who knock on their door early in the morning asking if they've "heard the good news." Does anyone, EVER, say, "Hmmm. . . Who's this Jesus guy? Never heard of him-- tell me more." No. The correct response is something like: "Fuckhead, get off my porch and start running, because I have an assfull of birdshot with your name on it."
