I'm heterosexual and, prior to getting married, I was extremely promiscuous.

Then you settled into a mono relationship. Can homosexuals do the same? I know the gay can be in relationships, living together and sharing the bills and taking turns cooking, and loving each other. Do gays become monogamous? Why do gays announce their preferance when nobody is asking?

Yes, 'homosexuals' can do the same. By choice? Not necessarily... not to imply that it is not by choice.

By the way... after a conversation with leo recently... I've discovered it would be more correct for what you appeared to suggest to say monophilogamous (one sexual bond) rather than monogamous (one bond).
