dbp, let me make some alterations to your statements...
There are an estimated 4.2 million pet dogs in Australia, removing all of them would be the same, ecologically speaking, as removing 8.4 million 4WD's (or even more smaller cars). As the population of Australia is 23.5 million, so you can see that just by killing all pet dogs and replacing them with 4WD's the world would be a much better place.
- I agree we are doing some harm, but we still have to except what climate we are given get from the earth, if we weren't here, I still believe that the climate will still change
This is true to a very small some extent.
That it would change anyway is not a perfectly valid reason to not do anything.
