Worst movie I ever saw? Probably Ang Lee's Hulk. Bad in pretty much every way a movie can be bad, but not bad enough to recommend in a Plan 9 From Outer Space kind of way. If there was a way to un-make a movie, I'd nominate this one for it first.
As for Battlefield: Earth, keep telling yourself that the main bad guy is Vinnie Barbarino, and you'll be just fine.

If you take it seriously (as was intended) you'll want those minutes of your life back. As a parody of gung-ho US war films, Starship Troopers would have been utterly brilliant. But I thought it was a legit film and... ugh.
That one looks so horrible, it's gotta be good.

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
