By somewhat I mean when it was convenient for them haha.I was raised a Jehovah's Witness, and they don't allow the relaxed approach to worship. But I did often notice that for many people their religious affiliation was little more than a label, not much different than their preferred political party or favorite sports team. Yes, they could have strong feelings about many issues, but in general they don't let religion get in the way of their day-to-day lives. I notice it even more now, because without any religion I have a lot more in common with "religious" people than I did when I was a fundamentalist!

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
