Hi all, new user here. I officially deconverted about a year back, although it was a long time coming with the final decision being then. Really I haven’t believed for about 2 years.
I became a Christian about 15 years ago, and ended up in the reformed baptist tradition.
Basic reason for deconversion - reading Hugo Mercier’s books, especially
I have a strong interest in Koine Greek, as well as application of different linguistic theories to Koine Greek.
Ideally I would love to get suggestions on academic books tackling the Bible from the perspective of linguistics / language, or just more general academic resources on the Bible. I would also want to keep learning things on the psychology of belief. Nancy Kim’s upcoming book on the topic
Any thoughts / suggestions would be appreciated. I hope to become a semi-regular poster here as I work through things.

was a huge help in this transition. The main reason was just no longer believing in it emotionally, and finally intellectually realising I was not in a position to judge any of the arguments properly so why trust them as good arguments.Link removed.
