Prof, you and I know it's very soon, there is a convergence of events and people all over the world who are confirming that the time of the rapture, tribulation, and the rise of the AC is finally here.Let me get this straight... you (and others) are interpreting "a convergence of events and people" as the rise of the Anti-Christ?

If you were really following scripture you would have dusted your feet off long ago from many here who reject Jesus. They are simply fulfilling prophecy in that "..there will be scoffers in that day...". It's simply casting pearls before swine but I got your back. How nice of you guys to have each other's backs...

So they wrote a few books... still not evidence.

You're telling me that what some believer wrote centuries ago, about a subject he had as much access to as I do (that is NONE), is to be heeded?
How do you people get to be this way?
What is the thought process that goes on in your minds and that results in such blind acceptance of whatever someone wrote hundreds of years ago?
Even if there is a god, how do you accept those scriptures as representative of that god's desires towards mankind?
How do you select which of the myriad scriptures for the myriad gods that people have believed in is the correct one, if any?
How can you think the others are incorrect, while the believers in other scriptures think yours is the incorrect one? What sort of god would accept that order of affairs?
We, around here, scoff at the likes of you for a very simple reason: we do not believe any of your supernatural claims.
This means, we don't assume our disembodied selves will remain after the corporeal death - as a result, any threat of hell or post-death punishment is useless; we don't assume there's an ultimate judge for any person's actions; we don't assume there are disembodied forces purposefully acting upon this Universe, this planet, and it's inhabitants.
