Why would a god reveal itself? If we had religious wars over imaginary gods, imagine how it'd be with certainty of him. xD
Certainly, i think, it makes no difference for him if the universe does follow his purposes anyway.
I read a short story yesterday from Isaac Asimov called the Last Answer. Interesting stuff, the conclusion kind of makes alot of sense in itself. Our purpose xd.
