I couldn't anyway- butterfly shrimp, pulled pork, and deer jerky hold more sway over than me than the ramblings of lunatics.
By the way, tell a redneck bible thumper that deer are ritually unclean - so sayeth the good book...while you're in a treestand with him at 0-dark thirty. Talk about an adrenaline rush - fuckers got the gun in his hands...nobodies around.....and the look you get makes it clear that he is also keenly aware of this.
One the balance of the two things offered, I really don;t see any wisdom inherent in either proclamation. An eye for an eye would seem to be an appropriate military response, but perhaps not the best way to handle civil law, and loving thy neighbor is all fine and dandy...unless you lived next door to Pol Pot or somesuch...at which point, meh - you know?
