Hey, lol, fancy seeing you here !!
But no, not recognised by the law of the land, sharia courts are wrong. And forcing a woman to wear a niqab is sexist isn't it? And why can't women have 4 husbands? Isn't there a sex equality act in this country?
Sharia law isn't enshrined in the British legal system, but freedom of religion is. You have no more right objecting to plural marriage among Muslims than you do objecting to Passover celebrated by Jews.
Yes, forcing a woman to wear a niqab is sexist. But how can you possibly tell which Muslim women are forced to wear it? I can't be sure, but I fancy I've met more Muslims than you have, and the women wear the niqab because they feel it is a religious and cultural duty to do so.
I assume you mean Islamic women. They cannot have four husbands because that isn't part of Islamic law.
Your comment about gender equality is misplaced. No one in the UK is forced to be a Muslim. Or a Christian. Or a Jew. Or an atheist. But when one adopts a religion, one is free to practice and observe it.
Please don't mistake this post for a defense of Islam. It manifestly is not that. Islam at its core is barbaric, backward, violent, and bigoted (like most religions). This post is a defense of religious freedom.
My post is simply a reply to one of your more stupid, shortsighted xenophobic posts.
